The created club‘s philosophy, goals, expectations, and finances are also fully customizable. Player Career mode now implements an objectives system with performance related challenges for every match. The most exciting feature is the new growth system, that allows players to improve their created Pro by spending skill points earned through training and playing matches.

Players can also unlock various perks, such as a five-star weak foot, as they level up. A lot of new post-game cinematics have been added to the game that show interactions between players and reflect on the latest performance. The trailer ends with a small voice clip from Alex Scott, who will be joining the commentary team for the game.
